I walk past the empty lanes,
The gardens look deserted,
Not much to catch my eyes,
I search for a glint so bright,
Up on the wall a flower blooms,
And my eyes lit up to the view,
It’s a yellow bud, rose I guess,
So tiny but bright enough,
To light up the barren lanes,
Engulfing all gloomy hints.
